Description

Sole-Source Public Notice  CITY OF HILLSBORO PROCUREMENT OF AUTOMATED WATER METERS, PARTS, SOFTWARE AND SUPPORT SERVICES NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE.  Anticipated Award Date: January 1st, 2021.  Prospective vendor: Neptune Technology Group.  The City of Hillsboro intends to sole-source this procurement on the following basis in accordance with our public contracting rules COH-47-0275.  The City issued an RFP for manual meters and future water meters and awarded a contract to Neptune Technology group. In order to obtain compatible equipment, as well as utilizing a single provider for systems support, the City intends to purchase additional meter equipment from this vendor for a note to exceed cost of $1,250,000 over 5 years. Protests in response to this sole-source procurement must be in writing emailed to: Purchasing Department, City of Hillsboro at purchasing@hillsboro-oregon.gov.  Protests should include a subject line of “Sole Source Procurement Protest” and must specify the grounds upon which the protest is based.  Protests will be received up to but no later than 12:00 PM PST, November 30th, 2020.  For additional information, please email purchasing@hillsboro-oregon.gov.
