Description

A fiber to the premise (FTTP) network is being designed and constructed to provide the HiLight internet service throughout Hillsboro.  This ITB includes work to connect the portion of the FTTP distribution network in the area of the Shute Park Hut. The construction of this network will consist of underground and aerial installation utilizing GPON architecture and will not include drop installation to the premise. The selected contractor will be responsible for material procurement and storage, labor and all aspects of network infrastructure to include, but not limited to; the installation of fiber, splice closures, cabinets, fiber splicing, testing, inspections, railroad insurance and right of entry agreement, creating and adhering to a schedule, safety and restoration.
