The City of Hillsboro is seeking to lease a first floor retail space in the Civic Center Building located on 1st Avenue and Main Street, next to the Civic Center Plaza for the operation of a restaurant or café. The Civic Center retail space is 1,686 SF with potential additional seating in the lobby of the building. Restrooms are located on the 2nd floor of the Plaza building with elevator access. The City of Hillsboro seeks a qualified restaurant or retail tenant for the space in an effort to advance the City’s vision and goals for Downtown, deliver needed food service or other curated retail opportunity and contribute to Downtown’s vibrant mix of businesses. The location of this project within the Downtown area is ideal because of: Accessibility to Downtown’s extensive amenities including retail, dining, shopping, recreating and socializing. Walkability and immediate access to transit Close proximity to key employment anchors such as the City and County civic centers and the Washington County courthouse; Tuality/Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) Medical Campus, and Pacific University Health and Education Campus,.
