CITY OF HILLSBORO Public Works DepartmentInvitation to Bid (ITB) – Public ImprovementNE Jackson School Road Improvement ProjectNo. 201911-10053  The City of Hillsboro seeks sealed bids from qualified firms able to provide construction services including but not limited to: roadways, drainage and sewers, bridges, asphalt, concrete, illumination, utility relocation and water systems.  The project will upgrade a mile and half of roadway between NE Grant Street and NE Evergreen Road, including all appurtenances.  There is no pre-qualification process for this ITB. Optional pre-bid conference will be held at 2:30 PM on December 17, 2019 at the City of Hillsboro, Civic Center Room 113B/C, 150 East Main Street, Hillsboro, Oregon 97123. This optional pre-bid conference will be for prospective bidders and their subcontractors. City Staff will take questions during the meeting.Late bids will be rejected as non-responsive. Sealed bids will be received by Allison Bergseng, Principal Engineer at: 4415 NE 30th Avenue, 2nd Floor, Hillsboro, Oregon 97124. A public bid opening will be held at this location at 2:00pm. This ITB is for construction of a Public Work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (prevailing wage law).
