Invitation to Bid (ITB) – Public Improvement Fern Hill Reservoirs Repairs and Modifications No. 1119-FHRRM Bids due and Bid Closing Date and Time: January 14th, 2020, 2:00 PM First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure due: Not later than January 14th, 2020, 4:00 PM The JWC seeks sealed bids from qualified firms able to provide. There is concrete spalling along the joint between the reservoir roof and the supporting wall that require repair. The concrete expansion joints on top of the roof require stripping and resealing. The roof needs to be coated with waterproofing. Additionally safety improvements including an exterior access stairs, access platform, davit crane base at the access hatch, interior ladder safety appurtenance and railings around the perimeter of the tank and hatches are needed. The Work consists of providing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, services, transportation, permits, and submittals required to complete the project. Omissions from the Contract Documents of details of work that are necessary to carry out the intent of the Contract shall not relieve the Contractor from performing the omitted work. There is no pre-qualification process for this ITB. An optional pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 AM on January 6th, 2020 at 4949 SW Winters Road, Cornelius, Oregon 97113. Late bids will be rejected as non-responsive. Sealed bids will be received by Negar Niakan, Water Program Manager at: 150 E Main St, Hillsboro, Oregon 97123, Room C534. A public bid opening will be held at this location at 150 E Main St, Hillsboro, Oregon 97123, Room C534, at 2:15 PM.
