Description

The Lane County Emergency Food & Shelter Board's goal is to help local social service agencies of Lane County with supplementing or expanding food and shelter assistance to residents in non-disaster emergencies by helping with food, rent/mortgage and utility assistance efforts.

About Lane County

Lane County is one of the largest counties in Oregon, stretching from the peaks of the Cascade Mountain range to the beaches on the Oregon coast.  As of the 2020 census the population was over 380,000, making it the fourth-most populous county in Oregon.  Most County facilities are located within the Eugene-Springfield Metro area.

About Lane County Procurement

Lane County is comprised of twelve departments that each process contracts and make purchases per Contract Policies approved by the Lane County Board of Commissioners.  These policies can be found in the Lane Manual Chapter 20.  Oversight is provided by the Procurement Office and County Counsel.

Formal solicitations such as Invitations to Bid (ITBs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Qualifications (RFQus), and Request for Quotes (RFQ) are conducted by departments on an as-needed basis. These requests for offers as well as public notices related to procurement will be posted on this site as applicable.
