Optional Site walk through -There is an optional site walk through on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 10:00AM - We will meet on the corner of SW 2nd and Main Street. We will then enter through the secured ramp, to the elevator as a group. This is an optional walk through for Prime Contractors who attended the Mandatory pre-bid on November 14, 2019 and all interested subcontractors.  Added the following prerequisite Prequalifications (Facilities Related Projects and Transportation Projects) to the prerequisites page. ______________________________________________________________________ MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE A MANDATORY Pre-Bid conference is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Justice Center. Justice Center is located at 1120 SW Third Avenue, Portland OR 97204. Attendance is mandatory for bid eligibility. Participants will be required to sign an attendance roster to document participation in the conference. The Justice Center is a secured facility. When you enter the building, you will have to go through security. There is a metal detector, x-ray machine, and people entering are subject to search. We will be gathering in the lobby on the first floor.  PREQUALIFICATION All persons desiring to bid for contracts requiring prequalification shall submit a completed prequalification application to the Multnomah County Purchasing office via email to prequal@multco.us . Such statements shall be received at least 10 days prior to the date that bids are due. Bidders are required to pre-qualify in the required class of work for at least the amount of the bid. Failure to do so shall result in rejection of bid. Pre-qualification â€“ Complete and submit the Prequalification Application Form for the class(es) of work.  (1) Building Alteration and Repair and (2) Masonry Work. JUSTICE CENTER SWING STAGE Prior to occupying the swing stage, Contractor provide proof of OSHA training.  BID DOCUMENTS All documents for this bid, contract terms and conditions, and project manual are available for view and download on the Buyer Attachments page of this Sourcing Event.  The Buyer Attachments page includes the following:  Responding to a Sourcing Event - MMP Supplier Guide Procedural Instructions - This includes "Instructions for Bidders" and Contract Award Procedures and Good Faith Effort Form Instructions Bidding Pages Project Manual (Includes Sample Contract) SPECIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS See Project Manual for specifications on Buyer Attachments page of this Sourcing Event.  RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES Your organization will perform all the following Responsible Business Practices listed in the section if awarded this contract: Your organization will not use products containing 1, 1, 1 trichloroethane. Your organization will, where possible, and in accordance with the scope of services to be provided under this contract, recycle, reuse and reduce waste going to landfill. Your organization will include, where possible, diverse suppliers, vendors and subcontractors when conducting business and in the supply chain. PREVAILING WAGE Do apply to this Contract. The wage rates to be paid are set forth in Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Works Contracts in Oregon, which is incorporated by reference. Copies are available from any office of the Wage and Hour Division of the Bureau of Labor and Industries. Copies are also available on the bureau's web page at www.oregon.gov/boli. Current BOLI Publication:  Prevailing Wage Rate for Public Works in Oregon effective July 1, 2019 and Prevailing Wage Rate Amendment effective October 1, 2019. BID SUBMISSION Bids must be submitted electronically through this Sourcing Event. Documents required two (2) hours after bid closing time may be included at time of bid submission, if preferred. Please upload documents to the Supplier Attachment page of this Sourcing Event.  PRICING Since this project will not begin until Spring 2020, the Bidder will need to offer firm pricing through May 2020.
