Items 19, 20: Would you consider United Felts as an approved CIPP lining manufacturer with EnviroCure UV as an approved UV CIPP lining solution for this project? Designed for gravity sewers, the family of EnviroCure UV CIPP liners are the perfect solution for extreme weather and environmentally sensitive projects. A key advantage of a UV Cured liner is its high strength that can be achieved with a thinner wall. EnviroCure UV’s multi-layered, overlapping construction make this possible. https://vortexinfrastructure-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/g/personal/ccalabro_vortexcompanies_com/EnzfjnEoPP9OuO24_CUvLpEBL70qzwQSIy1JuGRC1y4ycw?e=nDk9hH
Asked Jun 11, 2025 10:56AM
Answer:

The Bid Item Descriptions for Items 19 and 20 (pages 27 & 28 in the ITB) refer to Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction (OSSC) Section 00413 for desciption, materials and construction requirements for the bid items.  Item submittals that meet all the requirements would be approved for the project.

Would you consider specifying and mandating the use of VeriCure for temperature monitoring of the CIPP lining as part of the QA/QC process? VeriCure software is tailored for CIPP installation professionals. Real-time data viewing allows you to monitor and control the cure for maximum quality and efficiency along the entire length of the pip. VeriCure software also ensures that the entire length of the liner has met and maintained the proper cure temperature according to the manufacture’s guidelines, while also monitoring cool down. The final data is summarized in a gradient chart to show temperature change over time. Attached is our VeriCure submittal flyer, in which pages 6-14 provide a full product overview. Specifying VeriCure will ensure monitoring throughout the entire line to ensure a proper cure according to the manufacturer in lieu of an undefined number of temperature gauges. We hope you will consider this technology and are available to answer any questions.  https://vortexinfrastructure-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/g/personal/ccalabro_vortexcompanies_com/EqdgMVa3FsBNi49uVIZ58hoBiHpFdZ-z2kkMxrFfm2dqLQ?e=qrrFeg
Asked Jun 11, 2025 10:57AM
Answer:

The Item Bid desciptions refer to the applicable sections of the Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction (OSSC).  Any item submittal that meets the required specifications would be accepted for the project.

I am inquiring about item number 14, the service lateral video inspection. I own and operate a sewer line inspection company and I am wondering if I have the ability to bid on just one of the items. Additionally, I am curious if the scoping is only needed after the upgrades to the system, or if a pre-construction video is needed as well. Asked Jun 12, 2025 3:49PM
Answer:

The bid is a complete package, so there is not the ability to bid on single items.  Pre-construction videos are considered incidental to the bid items under which these are required.

Why are the following plan sheets missing: C307, C310, C311, C319, C322, C324 through C-328?
Asked Jun 13, 2025 11:12AM
Answer:

Those were sheets for Phase 1.  Lift Station 5 was designed as one project and divided into two phases.  Sheet C002 has the Sheet Index.
