Description

Metro is inviting bids for Elephant Exhibit Modifications for the Oregon Zoo.  Bid documents can be found on ORPIN at https://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/welcome

A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on June 23, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. at 4001 SW Canyon Road, Portland, OR 97221.  Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference.

Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is voluntary, however Metro is requiring all contractors that plan to attend to give advance notice (RSVP) to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov.  Due to restrictions on large groups, if the number of attendees exceeds a number that we can safely accommodate in a single meeting, some attendees will be assigned a different time for the site walk.  All notes and questions will be combined into a single addendum, as well as sign-in sheets for sub-contractor tracking. 

ALL ATTENDEES will be REQUIRED to wear face coverings for the entire duration of the conference.  Social distancing practices will be enforced.
