Description

The City offers dental benefits to approximately 6,400 active City employees who are not enrolled in a municipal union-administered plan. Of the 6,400 active employees, approximately 5,200 are enrolled in a Flexible Benefits Program that offers additional benefits. The remaining 1,200 are union EE sponsored employees who opt out of their union sponsored benefits and enroll in the City's benefits program. Eligible employees are enrolled across two dental plan options, 1) PPO, and 2) HMO. The City is soliciting proposals from qualified Applicants to provide a PPO program and DHMO program for its active employees only effective January 1, 2021. Proposals are due from interested Applicants by 5:00 pm Philadelphia, PA Local Time , June 17, 2020. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE JUNE 3, 2020 9:30 AM "DENTAL RFP PRE-PROPOSAL WEBEX MEETING ACCESS INFORMATION" FILE HAS BEEN INCLUDED AMONG THE OPPORTUNITY DETAILS.
