Description

Prosper Portland utilizes multiple systems to manage business demographic information, grant and loan applications, project and program workflow, and communications with external partners. Project managers are tasked with developing their own systems to manage information, which results in information being housed on desktops, share drive, servers, and emails. 

Project data can be lost when staff turnover occurs and institutional knowledge leaves with the project manager. When data are requested, they often require checking multiple systems and making manual alignments. This results in a duplication of staff effort and time and is an inefficient and often inaccurate way to report on Prosper Portland’s metrics. 

Collaborative Management software allows staff across the agency to streamline systems, share workflows, and develop automated communications. This is a unique opportunity to expand the use of a single system across the agency that can assist in data management and reporting.
