Description

Currently, Portland State University is using Apogee for its building automation systems (BAS). This project will upgrade nine (9) buildings’ BAS from Apogee to Desigo. The buildings this RFP covers are Cramer Hall (CH), Fariborz Maseeh Hall (FMH), Karl Miller Center (KMC), Lincoln Hall (LH), Millar Library (ML), Shattuck Hall (SH), Science Research and Teaching Center (SRTC), University Services Building (USB), and West Heating Plant (WHP).



Special Instructions

OPTIONAL SITE VISITS
Optional Site Visit #1: August 20, 2024 at 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Start at Lincoln Hall (LH), then move to Cramer Hall (CH), followed by University Services Building (USB), then Karl Miller Center (KMC), and end at Fariborz Maseeh Hall (FMH).

Optional Site Visit #2: August 21, 2024 at 8:00 am to 12:00 pm - Start at Shattuck Hall (SH), then move to Millar Library (ML), followed by West Heating Plant (WHP), and end at Science Research and Teaching Center (SRTC).

These visits are to allow additional time for Contractors and sub-contractors to access the building, look at/confirm existing as-built conditions and formulate questions. Regardless of information discussed at the pre-proposal meeting or site visits, proposers are cautioned that the official RFP requirements will be changed only by written addenda issued by PSU and posted on Bid Locker.

Pre-Proposal Conference

A mandatory virtual pre-proposal meeting will be conducted via Zoom on August 14, 2024 at 11:00 am, local time. Proposers must pre-register on or before August 13, 2024 at 5:00 pm, local time. To register Proposers must log into Bid Locker and pre-register in Bid Locker. Only Proposers who have representatives at the meeting shall be allowed to submit a proposal. The Contracts Officer will document all attendees and issue an Addendum with the list after the meeting. The meeting login particulars are as follows:
