Date: July 24, 2020 RE:Invitation to Bid-Older Adult Mann Center and Ramonita Rivera Recreation Center Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen, HACE CDC would like to invite you to bid on the construction of Rebuilds Older Adult Mann Center and Ramonita Rivera Recreation Center.  The construction of the project consists of 5.0214 AC overhaul of the current recreation structure, outdoor sports field, and garden. The project will provide 19,284 square foot of recreation space for residents of the Fairhill Neighborhood located in eastern northern section of Philadelphia. The first floor will have facilities for the older adult Mann Center and after school recreation spaces for residents. The second floor will feature recreation space for boxing, karate, dance, and basketball. Construction is anticipated to begin by October 12th, 2020 and shall be completed within 9 months (273 days), by July 12th, 2021. All project work is to be in conformance with the Federal, State and City Law Regulation and Code. All visitors in advance of their arrival on the job site should check for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. All participants must be willing to undergo a temperature check at the beginning of thewalk through. All participants will complete a survey regarding signs or symptoms of COVID-19 at thestart of the walk-through. Each firm is limited to a maximum total of 5 individuals during the walk through. All walk-through participants are required to wear face mask. All walk-through participants are required to wear gloves. All walk-through participants are required to maintain social distance of 6 feet apart. Walk-through for each individual firm is limited to a maximum of two hour. The Contractor must be prepared to provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The owner will pay the contractor separately for the bond. Proof of general liability ($2,000,000), auto ($1,000,000), E&O ($500,000) and professional liability insurance ($2,000,000), contractor’s pollution legal liability ($2,000,000) PAID and the City must be included as additional insureds. Proposed timeline for the completion of the work herein described.
