Description

The Jerome Brown Playground is an existing playground serving the Nicetown/Tioga community. The scope is anticipated to include exterior and interior improvements including infrastructure improvements, spray ground improvements and playground improvements. The base scope of work for this site includes the renovation of the existing site and recreation building. The scope may additionally include (but is not limited to): concept design and cost benefit analysis to provide a new building (6,000) SF on an adjacent parcel; concept design and cost benefit analysis to provide an addition (size TBD) to the existing recreation building; design of connection and access points between the existing recreation center site and building and proposed adjacent site. The total project budget cannot exceed $10,000,000 to $12,000,000 and includes design, construction, community engagement, equipment/furnishings and other fees.
