Description
Salisbury University is seeking, on behalf of The Maryland Research and Education Network (MDREN), replacement routers as detailed within. This is a project initiated by the University System of Maryland. MDREN serves as a network service provider for campuses within the University System of Maryland, as well as other public and private universities, community colleges, k-12 and other research institutions. The operational team responsible for MDREN is based at the University System of Maryland Office in Adelphi, Maryland. The University System of Maryland / Maryland Research and Education Network is replacing the routers in their service provider network. These routers must be of comparable quality to those used by Internet Service Providers. MDREN requests that respondents consider extending their equipment and services pricing to our member institutions. Please indicate whether pricing can be extended to our members and provide details regarding the duration for which the pricing will remain available after the initial purchase.
