Description

The University is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors to remove an existing 7.1 MMBH cast iron boiler and all associated piping and electrical feeders and replace it with (2) condensing boilers, integrating the controls of the new boilers into the existing BMC system to University standards, providing new electrical feeders as required, new exhausts and all other incidental related work as required to make a complete and operational system. Concrete pad is also to be enlarged and underground fuel oil tank is to be removed. Also remove an existing 1.2 MMBTU water heater/storage tank and replacing it with custom packaged pre-piped domestic water heating system consisting of (2) 430-gallon HW storage tanks and (2) MMBTU water heaters. Integrate the controls of the HW system into the existing BMS system to University standards, provide new electrical feeders as required, new exhausts and all other incidental related work as required to make complete and operational system. Concrete pad is also to be enlarged.
