Description

Metro, is requesting proposals for the Cultural heritage and healing memorial at Lone Fir Cemetery (also known as block 14) for the Parks and Nature Department. 

A new memorial will be built that honors the memory of those buried at the margins of Lone Fir Cemetery including Chinese workers and people with mental illness. Join us to tell these stories of prejudice, trauma, and resilience to create a special place that acknowledges the past and strengthens us for the future.

Metro is requesting proposals for design refinement, engineering and interpretive experience design for the cultural heritage and healing memorial at Lone Fir Cemetery.

Pre-Proposal Conference

A voluntary virtual pre-proposal conference will be held via Zoom on January 20th, 2022at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFQu requirements. Zoom link is provided in the RFQu document.
