Description
Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is requesting proposals for Parking Solutions Consulting for the Oregon Convention Center. We are looking for recommendations that will help enhance the guest parking experience while increasing revenue and decreasing expense. We want to thoughtfully update our parking systems and parking service contracts to meet these goals.
Special Instructions
For this RFP, Metro offers free coaching for interested COBID firms. The coaching will be done by a contractor of Metro’s choice. The coaching will be a 30 – 60 minute session about writing a proposal in general. Any interested firms must communicate that interest by 2:00 pm on April 30, 2025 to bidsandproposals@oregonmetro.gov. Metro staff will be in touch to connect you with the contractor for scheduling.

Pre-Proposal Conference Information
A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held virtually on Monday April 28, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements. Link to event is contained in the RFP documents.
